Is your family or your workplace ready for the unexpected?  Learn how to respond to an emergency by joining the CERT team.  Bedford's Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) teaches easy, basic skills that can save lives at home or at work.

Dates: This is a ten week class which will be held on Thursday evenings starting February 25, 2010.

Time: 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.

2/25 - Unit 1: Preparedness
3/4 -   Unit 6: ICS
3/11 - Unit 2: Fire Safety
3/18 - No Class (Spring Break)
3/25 - Unit 8: Terrorism & Radios/Communication
4/1   - Unit 3: Disaster Med. Ops 1 (Triage)
4/8   - Unit 4: Disaster Med. Ops 2 (Bandaging/Splinting)
4/15 - Unit 5A: Search & Rescue (searches)
4/22 - Unit 5B: Search & Rescue (cribbing)
4/29 - Unit 7: Disaster Psych & Tabletop exercise
5/1   - Class Drill (Saturday 9:00am to 1:00pm)
5/6   - Graduation
